Your responsibilities

In the role of researcher, you will lead the research project “Establishment support for newly graduated researchers: Inclusive public spaces after dark – on the relationship between perceived visual accessibility, inclusion, social interaction, and belonging (FO/2025/231)”. The position also includes conducting externally funded projects, applying for external funding, and co-supervising doctoral students. Institutional duties may occur as needed.

Your qualifications

To be considered for the position, you need to have a PhD in lighting science, or in environmental psychology with a focus on lighting, light design, lighting science, or a related field. You have solid knowledge of both light design and landscape architecture and are accustomed to working with both quantitative and qualitative research methods. You have knowledge and skills in collecting empirical data through visual observations and experience in writing scientific articles. You also have experience in applying for research funding and can communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English. The role requires you to work independently and have good collaboration skills with both internal and external partners. Employment is subject to the applicant having full external funding.

Permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may apply.
